Funding transparency
Octopus Research Institute receives infrastructure, engineering support and funding from Octopus Core Pty Ltd. Commercial interests are disclosed on the relevant research, publication and dataset pages. Research findings, including negative results and limitations, are not altered, suppressed or embargoed to support commercial narratives.
Legal status
Octopus Research Institute is the dedicated research organisation of the Octopus ecosystem. It is not, and does not claim to be, a registered charity, an accredited university, a government-recognised institute, or a body holding formal ethics-committee, institutional-review-board, ISO or clinical accreditation. No statement on this site should be read as confirmation of any such status. Research is conducted independently of, and its findings are not altered to support, the commercial interests of Octopus Core.
