Data governance
Datasets carry explicit ownership, licence and access conditions. This page sets out how we govern data — including data we do not, and will not, publish.
Ownership model
Every dataset states its ownership: institute-owned, third-party (used or evaluated, not owned), or community-governed. We do not claim ownership of third-party data.
Licences & access
Datasets carry an explicit licence and access conditions. Where the measured data is available we host it and link a download; where it is not, we say so honestly rather than implying a dataset that does not exist.
Community-governed data
Community-governed data — such as any future Auslan corpus — is subject to the community's informed, revocable consent and to community-controlled takedown. Consent and governance are prerequisites, not afterthoughts.
What we never publish
We publish no personal, health or sign-language video data through this website, and the collaboration form must not be used to submit such data.
Requesting data or takedown
For access to data not currently hosted, or to request a takedown, contact us via the Collaborate page.
